SETS President to Participate on M-19 Update Committee

Ms. Shondra Neumeister, P.E., President of Southeastern Technical Solutions, will serve on the committee tasked with updating the AWWA M19 Manual, Emergency Planning for Water Utilities. This manual is intended to reflect the best management practices and guidance for utilities to use in developing and/or updating their Emergency Response Plans. The committee anticipates that the fifth edition of the M-19 manual will be available in early 2013.
SETS President Invited to Serve on AWWA Emergency Preparedness Standards Committee

Ms. Shondra Neumeister, P.E., President of Southeastern Technical Solutions, has been invited to sit on the American Water Works Association's Emergency Preparedness Standards Committee. This committee has been charged with developing a standard that defines the minimum emergency preparedness requirements for water, wastewater and reuse facilities to respond to emergencies and restore normal operations while minimizing the disruption of critical services, sustaining public health, protecting property, and maintaining consumer confidence. The committee will also update the fourth edition of the AWWA M19 Manual, Emergency Planning for Water Utilities.
