Partial GIWA Service Area Acquisition Evaluation; Charlotte County Utilities, Port Charlotte

Southeastern Technical Solutions evaluated existing CCU pipeline capacities with respect to acquiring customers through acquisition of a portion of the Gasparilla Island Water Association service area and estimated remaining useful life for system components that would be impacted by the acquisition. STS then prepared a cost estimate for the required system modifications and upgrades that would be required for the partial acquisition and determined a "payback" schedule for this recovery of these capital investments. Finally, STS attended several negotiations meeting on behalf of CCU.
